1. National Recognition – SIWAA 2022
Mrs. Aastha Singh, Founder and CEO of Gramshree Kisan and Gramshree Greens, was honored with the Stree One India Women Achievement Award (SIWAA) 2022, receiving the prestigious title “Woman of the Soil”. This accolade recognizes her remarkable contribution to the field of agriculture and her efforts toward empowering rural communities in Bihar.
2. Social Impact Excellence
Gramshree Kisan was awarded as the Best Social and Impact Enterprise for FY 2021–22 at the Sanmarg Business Awards, sponsored by Mumbai Angels Network, for its transformative work in rural livelihoods and sustainable agriculture.
3. Incubation and Support
UPAYA Social Ventures and YSB Accelerator incubated Gramshree during 2021–2022, supporting its mission to create inclusive growth in rural economies.
The enterprise was also incubated by ICAR-IARI - PUSA Krishi for FY 2022–23, adding credibility from India’s leading agri-research institute.
4. National Empanelment
Gramshree Kisan is empanelled as a consultant with the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), providing technical and managerial support services in the field of fisheries and aquaculture — a key driver for rural income.
5. International Representation
In May 2023, Mrs. Singh was selected to represent India as a women entrepreneur at the US Fortune Program, held from 7th May to 27th May 2023, marking her global recognition as a changemaker.
6. Honored by the US Consulate
She was also recognized as the Top Woman Entrepreneur in Bihar by the US Consulate, applauding her leadership in agri-innovation and entrepreneurship.
7. Thought Leadership & Advocacy
Invited as a TEDx Speaker on 17th February 2023 in Patna, where she shared her vision on rural innovation.
Also featured as a Josh Talks Speaker on 25th February 2023, inspiring young changemakers and future entrepreneurs.
